In other words: A discussion of The Bush Administration
Hey, you want to know what a real statesman sounds like? (Real Media required) Its not just the accent, what is different here is that it is a well thought out intelligent statement, voicing both positive and negative opinions of Blair. We have a President announcing war using short sentences and simple words, and even worse, simple thoughts, He stares at the camera like it is the headlights of an oncoming car. Lets hope not.
Our Congressional officials are almost silent on the debate, more concerned about their individual political careers, so we have Republican Congressman appearing on TV and talking of the “majesty” of Bush, and Democratic Congressman like Lieberman confusing support with honest to goodness differences in opinion by saying "It's time to come together and support our great American men and women in uniform and their commander-in-chief." I support our troops, and part of my support is to really ask if risking their lives is necessary. Come on, many Americans can some how express love for the Yankees and still hate Steinbrenner, surely they can support our troops without supporting Bush.
